The world is crazier than most people know. But I know. I was a clinical social worker for forty years. I am a witness. I retired from social work to write about the sad, the mad, and the savage; with whom I have spent most of my life. I have decided to translate these stories into fiction, because, as a co-worker once said, "You couldn't make this sh*t up. No one would believe you."

Some People Never Learn....

So I decided to enter another contest, the one I had decided not to enter. It's the Hollywood Book Festival, where sometimes your book gets within striking distance of the film industry. I suspect I have less common sense than God gave a cantaloupe, but what the hell.

  1. Janey, from what I've heard of your book I think it'd make a great screenplay. Nothing to lose, right?

    1. Marty, thanks for the support. And hell yeah, it would make a totally wild screenplay, I even wrote a bunch of sample scenes for them. Fingers crossed, and there's a dance in the old dame yet. :)
